JSC "Republican scientific–methodical center of development of technical and professional education and qualification assignment" (JSC "RSMC") is conducting an independent assessment of qualification of graduates of technical and vocational education with participation of employers according to the Law RK "About education", article 28 n. 8, 10.

In accordance with the Standard rules of the current monitoring of progress, interim and final certification, approved by the order of the Minister of education and science of 18.03.2008 №125 (as amended from 29.08.2013 №360), the final certification of students of technical and vocational, post-secondary education includes:

1) final certification of students in educational institutions (diploma protection/final exams);

2) assessment of the level of professional training and qualification (Independent quality assessment – NOC).

According to the results of the assessment of the level of professional training and qualification by profession, a certificate is issued–a document confirming the level of compliance of the specialist (the level of professional competence) in the form approved by the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

To participate in the assessment of professional training and qualification by profession, it is necessary to provide:

• Application for participation;

• A copy of the identity document.

The qualification exam (written testing) is conducted in special disciplines (in the state or Russian languages) and consists of 100 questions in accordance with the curriculum, lasting 2.5 hours (150 minutes). The correct answer to each test task is evaluated by 1 (one) point. The results of the written tests are evaluated by points and announced on the same day after the minutes of the meetings. Students who successfully pass the qualification exam are assigned a level of qualification for a particular profession and receive a certificate of qualification.

Комплексное тестирование абитуриентов – форма экзамена, проводимого одновременно по нескольким учебным дисциплинам с применением информационных технологий.

Комплексное тестирование абитуриентов (КТА) проводится для выпускников:

• graduates of secondary General education organizations of previous years,
• graduates of educational institutions Of the type of educational institutions (technical and professional, post-secondary),
• graduates of secondary schools, who studied in the international exchange of students abroad, who did not participate in the UNT,
• graduates of Republican music boarding schools,
• as well as citizens who have graduated from educational institutions abroad.

Acceptance of applications for participation in complex testing is carried out by selection committees of higher educational institutions from June 20 to July 9, for creative specialties is carried out by selection committees of universities from June 20 to July 1.

Comprehensive testing of applicants is carried out in four subjects:

• Kazakh or Russian language (language of instruction),
• history of Kazakhstan,
• mathematics,
• subject of choice (geography, physics, biology, chemistry, Kazakh literature (Russian literature), foreign language).

Complex testing is carried out from 17 to 23 July on the basis of 37 basic universities.
The number of test items for each subject-25. The correct answer to each test task is evaluated by one point.
For citizens entering the creative specialties, points are taken into account in two subjects of complex testing: the Kazakh or Russian language, the history of Kazakhstan.
Complex testing takes 2 hours and 30 minutes. Retake testing is not allowed.
Required documents for participation in complex testing:

• application on a standard form,
• certificate or diploma of completion of primary professional (technical and professional) or secondary professional (post-secondary) educational institution (original),
• receipt of payment for testing,
• two 3x4 size photos,
• medical certificate form 086-U,
• a copy of the identity document.
